SharePoint Administrator

 

The professionals will perform administration for all DoD SharePoint farms..

 

ROLE:

 

 Manage security of all SharePoint farms and sites.

 

Maintenance of servers e.g., service packs, hot fixes.

 

Generate and maintain documentation on the installation and configuration of the system in its environment..

 

Support maintenance, backup, recovery, and overall change management activities.

 

Monitor and report of SharePoint status

 

Usage analysis

 

System optimization

 

Installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and monitoring of the SQL Server databases required by the SharePoint farms

 

Creating and executing test plans to certify all software changes

 

 

 

SKILLS NEEDED

 

At least two years of experience with the SharePoint application, with formal training; experience with SharePoint implementation. Microsoft SharePoint Certifications a plus.

 

Experience and expertise in Enterprise SharePoint and supporting technologies - SQL Server, Active Directory, Server farm design concept and Windows networking principles.

 

Experience in all aspects of Microsoft SharePoint farm installation and operation while maintaining compliance with security management tasks including all security standards.

 

Experience supporting the DoD and an active Secret Clearance is required.

 

Place of Performance: The place of performance is the Washington DC Metro area.  The main support locations are Alexandria, VA, Suitland, MD, McLean, VA, Washington DC, Hyattsville, MD and Congress Heights DC.
