Currently we are looking for a Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our group. The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will support and monitor the daily operations of the enterprise Infrastructure and its environment to ensure appropriate operational security posture is maintained
ROLE:
Assists with developing, reviewing, maintaining and overseeing information systems security plans (SSPs) and Assessment/Authorizations in accordance with DoD mandated polices.
Performs audit reviews of systems to ensure compliance with documented security requirements and to detect any system level vulnerabilities, track events such as any signs of inappropriate or unusual activity.
Prepares a detailed report of the findings and ensures proper protection and / or corrective measures are taken immediately.
SKILLS NEEDED
3-5 years computer security experience.
Experience in Network Auditing
Familiarity with SIPRNet environment and Windows Domain.
Expert with Windows in a secure network environment.
Troubleshoot, isolate and replace defective hardware.
Must be able to work in a constantly changing regulatory environment with short, mid, and long term timelines for remediating any non-compliance
Knowledge of SIPRNet operations at the small enclave level.
One or more of the certifications-Security+, Network+, GSEC, SCNP or SSCP
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.
